About the Role:
The Earlham Institute is seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth delivery of our training programme portfolio and other events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the training programme portfolio and other events, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Coordinate with teaching faculty to plan and facilitate events, including setting meeting agendas and drafting content for event webpages.
- Oversee the operational running of events, including logistics and administrative tasks, such as managing queries and coordinating delegate feedback.
- Monitor event statistics and ensure evaluations are collected and analyzed to inform future event planning.
- Support the training programme with IT requirements, including troubleshooting and technical support during events.
Requirements:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with experience in events management. You will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in events management software and the ability to think on your feet are essential.
What We Offer:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. This is a part-time maternity cover post, expected to last for 14 months, with the possibility of an uplift in hours to full-time.
