This role is designed for a skilled finance expert who will revolutionize the financial operations, improve reporting and budgeting frameworks, and offer financial project management skills to enhance organizational performance and foster effective financial governance.
The position entails visiting various local sites and engaging with site leaders.
Annual Financial Planning:
Take the lead in crafting precise and timely annual financial plans in collaboration with business leaders.
Generate accurate and timely internal and external financial reports, including presentations to the board of trustees, local authority partners, and funding bodies.
Actively participate in internal governance meetings, consistently reviewing internal reports to assess trends and performance.Operational Systems Enhancement:
Spearhead the development and integration of the organization's operational systems. Formulate and lead cross-departmental teams to ensure systems align with business needs.
- Establish and implement management processes and accountability for all account management and transaction processing, ensuring they are suitable for current and future growth. Oversee development with system providers in a timely and organized manner.
- Create and deliver content for monthly management reports that align with business objectives.
Commercial Practices:
Implement effective commercial practices and initiate modifications to ensure that key operational, commercial, and financial objectives are met.
Financial Analysis and Insights:
Deliver analysis and insights that connect financial reports to business strategies.
Seeking a part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant experience in finance and accounting, including collaboration with non-financial managers.
- Demonstrated experience in financial controls and related processes, with practical application and management of controls.
- Extensive background in producing management and statutory financial statements.
- Strong IT skills, including advanced/intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
