Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Alfreton. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

About the Role:
  • Manage projects from customer brief to delivery, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
  • Create manufacturing route cards to optimize production processes.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external resources to ensure project success.
  • Work in a first-class precision engineering environment with modern facilities and processes.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to HNC level or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of precision engineering processes, including CNC machining and metal fabrication techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Competence in Office software, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings and specifications.
  • Capable of working unsupervised and using own initiative.
  • Good eye for detail with a methodical approach.
What We Offer:
  • Up to £50,000 salary (dependent on experience).
  • 33 days holiday, Christmas shutdown, and 7.5% pension.
  • 4x salary death in service.
