Maintenance Technician Role

Williams Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and pre-planned maintenance on production and packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the pre-planned maintenance schedule
  • Involved in machinery strip down and rebuild, upgrades and installation work
  • Carry out basic facilities maintenance as and when necessary

Requirements:

  • Multi-skilled maintenance engineer or technician with strong mechanical and electrical experience
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent
  • Manufacturing background with experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
  • Competent in hydraulics, pneumatics and gearboxes
  • Confident with 3 phase electrics, AC DC motors, sensors, drives and able to fault find on PLCs
