Job Summary:

In this role, you will support the construction team in ensuring that piping construction activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets. You will work closely with contractors and craft professionals to monitor and coordinate subcontractor activities, schedules, and resource allocation. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that construction operations are aligned with the overall project schedule and that all stakeholders are informed of progress and any potential issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and organize subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures.
  • Review and analyze subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve constructability issues and ensure that construction operations are aligned with project specifications and schedules.
  • Support the construction team in interpreting engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents to ensure that construction activities are executed correctly.
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and related work rules as established by field construction management to ensure a safe and efficient construction process.
Requirements:
  • A recognized degree in Mechanical engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in piping construction, with a strong understanding of construction activities, engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Knowledge of Indian standards and specifications, as well as safety procedures and practices associated with construction activities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
