Job Description:

We are looking for a Temporary School Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the school office. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reception Duties: Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and managing email communications.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with paperwork, filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate school records.
  • Communication: Liaising with parents, staff, and external agencies professionally and effectively.
  • Attendance Management: Recording and monitoring student attendance and absences.
  • General Office Duties: Providing support to the Headteacher and school staff with various administrative tasks as needed.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a school environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Ability: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with school management software (e.g., SIMS).
  • Team Player: Friendly, approachable, and able to work well within a team.
  • DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check is required or the willingness to obtain one.
