Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning Assistant to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial advisors by preparing detailed financial plans, conducting research, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and compliant financial plans and reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on a wide range of financial products, including pensions, investments, and insurance.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of client relationships, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their financial goals.
  • Work closely with financial advisors to develop and implement bespoke financial strategies.
  • Ensure all client documentation is up-to-date and complies with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial services market and any changes in legislation that may impact our clients.

Key Attributes:

  • Previous Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Financial Planning Assistant role is advantageous.
  • Qualification: Must hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in preparing reports and documents.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and provide detailed analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with advisors and other team members.
  • Client-Focused: Commitment to providing exceptional service and building long-term client relationships.
  • Proactive and Organized: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
