Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our collections team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with repayments, negotiating payment arrangements, and conducting basic affordability checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Communication
- Make and receive calls to discuss repayment options with customers.
- Assist customers via live chat and handle queries or disputes.
- Payment Arrangements
- Negotiate payment plans with customers.
- Conduct affordability checks to ensure customers can meet their payment obligations.
- Account Management
- Update account information and notes accurately.
- Direct customers with financial difficulties to appropriate debt agencies.
Requirements
- Experience
- 2 years in customer service or retail preferred.
- Skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
- Attitude
- Friendly, empathetic, with a positive and reliable work ethic.
- Education
- GCSE or equivalent preferred.
Working Hours
- Monday-Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm or 10:00am - 6:30pm.
- One Saturday per month: 9:00am - 1:00pm.
