The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical judgment and possess refined abilities in delivering exceptional direct clinical services, comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing management of individuals facing physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges due to acquired brain injuries. Our team members will have access to continuous professional growth opportunities, supported by the Physiotherapy Lead, with funding available for skill enhancement and academic continuing professional development (CPD) programs, alongside regular in-service training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
The post holder will:
- Utilize evidence-based and client-centered methodologies to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate specialized physiotherapy programs for a diverse caseload of adults with acquired brain injuries.
- Provide treatment for individuals experiencing significant physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges.
- Deliver physiotherapy services in clients' residences, community settings, and outpatient facilities to promote optimal community reintegration.
- Exhibit clinical reasoning capabilities in evaluating, analyzing, and comparing various therapeutic options concerning clinical outcomes, while advancing client care to maximize rehabilitation potential.
- Collaborate with other specialized services as necessary and facilitate safe discharges in coordination with the multidisciplinary team and relevant agencies.
The ideal candidate will possess postgraduate experience in either inpatient or community neuro-rehabilitation and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Completion of specialized courses in the field of neurological therapy.

- Three years of postgraduate clinical experience.

- Postgraduate experience in managing neurological conditions.

- Experience in assessing and treating complex cases within the realm of neurological therapy.
- Proficient in assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment to a patient caseload.
- Competent in IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, email, and internet usage.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development through clinical practice and formal education.
- Understanding of the intricate relationship between physical, cognitive, psychological, and social aspects of health.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
- Experience in supervising staff and teaching students.
