The Role: Vehicle Mechanic - Dayshift

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to diagnose and repair our buses, conduct routine examinations, and ensure they remain in optimal condition. If you have a passion for mechanics and a commitment to excellence, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
  • Identify vehicle faults and specify appropriate repair methods
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle servicing and examinations
  • Respond to on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries
  • Perform necessary road testing of vehicles
Working Hours:

This role involves alternating shifts, including weekends.

  • Weekends: 06:00 - 14:00 (2 in 4 off)
  • Mid-week: 07:00 - 16:30, 06:00 - 15:30
About You:
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ qualification as a mechanic
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Desirable PCV license
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • Experience and knowledge in vehicle/auto electrical systems
