About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Allied Vehicles Limited. As a leading specialist in servicing and Accident Repair, we have gained a reputation for excellence and are now recruiting for experienced Technicians to join our award-winning team.

Main Duties
  • Complete high-quality maintenance and repairs of customer vehicles, adhering to given standard job times
  • Perform MOT tests to DVSA Guidelines, if applicable
  • Specialize in diagnostics, efficient root cause analysis, and repair
  • Advise managers of additional work required on vehicles and seek assistance in rectifying faults
  • Maintain high levels of competence through on-site training, supplier and manufacturer courses, and technical bulletins
  • Discuss vehicle problems with customers, ensuring professionalism and quality of service
  • Maintain good housekeeping and health and safety practices
  • Complete vehicle condition report sheets and job cards
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive motor trade experience and be proficient in diagnostic repairs
  • An Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 3 City and Guilds or equivalent qualification is essential
  • A Master Technician qualification or MOT Testers qualification is desirable but not essential
  • A full UK driving license is required for this role
