About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Home Manager to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. As a Registered Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our brand-new 41 bed specialist complex Care Home in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to residents.
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of residents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, including staff supervision, training, and development.
- Collaborate with local commissioners and professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
- Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RGN or RMN or RNLD).
- Minimum of three years management experience in a complex care setting.
- Thorough understanding of nursing care best practice, sector-specific and employer legislation and governance frameworks.
- Commissioning background or good understanding of commissioning new homes in terms of recruitment, filling beds, etc.
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships with local commissioners and professionals.
- Excellent range of clinical, business, digital, and operational skills.
