Fraud Prevention Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fraud Strategy Analyst to join our team, responsible for maintaining the profitability and compliance of our lending business. As a key member of our fraud prevention team, you will work closely with data, systems, and customer management teams to optimize fraud prevention tools and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement monitoring of transactions, account activity, and customer behavior to identify suspicious activities and potential fraud.
- Collaborate with the Fraud Manager to prepare detailed reports on detected fraud and emerging trends, including recommendations for preventive measures.
- Create and maintain Management Information for Fraud metrics.
- Support the Money Laundering Nominated Officer and customer services teams in reviewing suspicious activity and preparing and onward reporting of suspicious activity reports.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and strong organizational skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills and knowledge of prevalent fraud techniques, fraud tools, and emerging trends in the industry.
