About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fraud Strategy Analyst to join our team, responsible for maintaining the profitability and compliance of our lending business. As a key member of our fraud prevention team, you will work closely with data, systems, and customer management teams to optimize fraud prevention tools and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement monitoring of transactions, account activity, and customer behavior to identify suspicious activities and potential fraud.
  • Collaborate with the Fraud Manager to prepare detailed reports on detected fraud and emerging trends, including recommendations for preventive measures.
  • Create and maintain Management Information for Fraud metrics.
  • Support the Money Laundering Nominated Officer and customer services teams in reviewing suspicious activity and preparing and onward reporting of suspicious activity reports.

Requirements

  • Data manipulation and analysis using SQL, SAS, or similar.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver objectives independently.
  • Knowledge of prevalent fraud techniques, fraud tools, and emerging trends in the industry.
