Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our database and gift management systems, as well as developing and implementing strategies to increase fundraising and development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our database and gift management systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase fundraising and development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of giving and support.
  • Collaborate with the development team to create and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to donors, alumni, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in database management and gift management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and practices, with a passion for development and philanthropy.
