Position: Business Manager – Transformation Programme

Work Arrangement: 3 days per week in the office

Compensation: circa £60k + bonus + benefits

Are you seeking a role that offers a diverse range of responsibilities? This pivotal position within the modernisation department is designed for you.

Incorporating aspects of business process oversight, commercial and contract management, stakeholder collaboration, vendor oversight, and reporting, this role will be instrumental in supporting the transformation programme and the Chief Transformation Officer. You will facilitate communication with the Group's Board, Executive team, and various functional teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating key programme data to create regular and ad-hoc Board and Executive Committee papers.
  • Assisting strategic change initiatives through comprehensive reporting and documentation.
  • Managing relationships with third-party strategic partners.
  • Ensuring the Transformation programme is equipped with clear and effective plans for successful delivery and decision-making.
  • Overseeing the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust governance structures.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presentations for the Group Chief Transformation Officer and other senior leaders in Transformation.
  • Collaborating with finance teams to manage invoicing for key strategic partner relationships.
  • Supporting the Strategic Performance Manager in developing business cases.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a similar capacity, with a track record of supporting strategic change initiatives through reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior and C-suite executives.
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end RFI/RFP processes.
  • Familiarity with project and change management lifecycles is essential.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Professional certification in vendor management, contract management, or project management is advantageous.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in business studies or finance is preferred.

This role necessitates a commitment of 3 days per week in the office, including travel for meetings with consulting partners.
