Job Title: IT Support Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team at Newly Weds Foods in Banbury. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support for all end users based at our factory in Banbury, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all IT helpdesk tickets raised and reply in a professional, confident, and timely manner.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to all end users covering hardware and software-related problems.
  • Arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in-house.
  • Regular maintenance of hardware (PC and peripherals) for business continuity in a factory environment.
  • Maintain all IT-related documentation.
  • Multi-site cover requiring travel and overnight accommodation in the UK and mainland Europe.
  • Out-of-hours support provided on a rota basis to ensure 24/7 cover for production.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant IT qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an IT support role would be advantageous.
  • Full driving license.
  • Commitment to NWF Banbury values.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £33,000 - £39,000 depending on skills and experience.
  • Location: Newly Weds Foods, Banbury.
  • Working hours/pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Pension: 3% paid via salary sacrifice, saving you tax and NI contributions.
  • Annual salary reviews: an annual pay review is conducted every January.
  • Holiday: 23 days plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 5 years.
