We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Banbury, Oxfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing preventive and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance to manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and fittings, as well as building systems and business supporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a fully populated and working CMMS system
  • Follow the maintenance schedule to ensure all routine tasks are completed and compliance can be demonstrated
  • Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including moving and installing new equipment
  • Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on complex systems, including robots, relay logic, and controls components
  • Communicate with departments to organize PPM activities and ensure compliance
  • Conduct weekly checks and yard checks, as well as minor building fabric repairs and decorating tasks
  • Work closely with Health and Safety to ensure compliance and perform Fire Marshall and First Aid duties
  • Manage contractor control and develop and deliver Preventive Maintenance programs
Requirements:
  • Experience in CMMS and IT skills, with ability to communicate at all levels (written and verbal)
  • Practical skills and experience in Electrical and Mechanical, or Multi-skill qualifications
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and contractor control management
  • Physical fitness, with ability to manually handle items and use ladders
  • Willingness to learn and develop in a way to help the department and the business
  • Clean driving license
