About the Role

Securitas Security Services is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in the Royston area. As a leading provider of global security services, we offer intelligent protective solutions that leverage people, technology, and expertise.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough searches of individuals, vehicles, and belongings according to site protocols.
  • Patrol industrial, scientific, and office buildings, as well as the site perimeter, to ensure a secure environment.
  • Monitor outdoor vehicle loading/unloading operations for security compliance and conduct site control room operations.
  • Respond to incidents and building/area zone alarms, manage keys, and perform locking and unlocking duties.

**Requirements:**

  • Hold a valid SIA Licence (training can be provided to obtain your licence).
  • Have excellent customer service, people skills, and time management abilities.
  • Be flexible and willing to cover weekdays, nights, and weekends.
  • Have a 5-year checkable history in the UK and the right to work in the country.
