Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our maintenance and repairs team at Together Housing. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical repairs and maintenance services to our properties in the Lancashire area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance work to both tenanted and vacant properties, adhering to job tickets, specifications, and contract drawings.
  • Work with an ethos of "Right First Time" to complete repairs in one visit, with good quality workmanship and performance.
  • Organize your work to minimize lost or non-productive time, highlighting proactive solutions to manage workload.
  • Assist in addressing peaks and troughs in workload by working overtime and participating in a standby or call-out rota.
  • Use your initiative to diagnose and undertake repairs that may differ from the job required or where the job required was of a locate fault type nature.
  • Work to a consistently high standard of workmanship, adhering to service specifications, safe working procedures, and team standards.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • Knowledge of BS7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
  • Full UK Manual drivers license.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience in electrical work, including customer service experience.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment and maximizing the number of jobs completed in one visit.
Benefits:
  • Starting salary: £40,597 - £43,605, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • 4 days on, 4 days off schedule with van share.
  • 11 hour working days from Monday to Friday 8am-8pm and 1 hour break, and 7.5 hour working days on Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm and 30 min break.
