Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Blackburn, UK

Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Blackburn, UK. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, directly contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and troubleshooting to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Enhance equipment performance using data analysis for informed decision-making.
  • Execute projects within budget and time constraints, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including shift reports and equipment drawings.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds 17th Edition qualification in electrical engineering, with 18th Edition being highly desirable.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI, AC & DC variable speed drive installation, and repair preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • UK driving license and own transport for shift work flexibility.
  • Engineers with current or previous experience as maintenance technician, maintenance electrician, shift electrician, shift maintenance engineer, service engineer or electrical installation engineer will have the right skills to be considered for this role.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of £41K to £44K, inclusive of shift premium, alongside benefits such as a company pension plan with total contribution of 11%, lots of overtime, Xmas shutdown and life assurance cover.
