Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team at The Advocate Group. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality ambient food products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Manage the purchasing process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Collaborate with our logistics team to ensure seamless importation and customs clearance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and customers.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £80,000 - £85,000.
  • A discretionary bonus and EOT scheme.
