Key Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, your primary duty will be to maintain the safety and security of Defence employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the security of designated areas.
- Conducting foot and vehicle patrols in accordance with established security protocols.
- Identifying and addressing potential security threats.
- Managing access control for vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring proper credentials are verified.
- Conducting searches of vehicles, personnel, and premises as necessary.
- Maintaining traffic control and management.
- Documenting incidents and maintaining daily security logs.
- Responding to emergencies and incidents in a timely manner.
- Providing assistance to employees and visitors with any inquiries.
- Escalating critical situations to law enforcement when required.
- Monitoring security systems, including CCTV and alarms.
- Communicating effectively via telephone and radio.
Applicants must possess a Full Manual UK Driving Licence. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate the following behaviours:
