Electronics Support Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Support Engineer to join our team at Red Bull Technology. As part of our Electronics Support Group, you will be responsible for providing electrical and electronic support for our factory and rig systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • System and controls setup, failed component reporting, and fault diagnosis and resolution
  • Ensuring electrical systems are set up and configured correctly and that they are built and tested to meet event build specifications
  • Monitoring and assessing the health of electrical systems alongside other main systems on the rig
  • Assisting with the control and maintenance of spares and equipment required for the role

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a similar role within F1 Electronics and Control Systems, including ATLAS and System Monitor
  • Proficiency in MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow
  • Experience with all types of electrical and electronic installations, including MIL specification wiring installations and sensor technologies
  • A degree or equivalent in an electronics discipline, combined with relevant experience of motorsport electrical and electronic systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to read and write simple code in VBA, XML, Python
  • Familiarity with using an oscilloscope to measure and capture analogue and digital signals
  • Familiarity with debugging CAN issues using tools such as Vector CANalyzer or similar
