Consumer Technical Insights Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sensory and Consumer Science Leader to join our team at pladis Global. As a key member of our Consumer Technical Insights function, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance to the business, leveraging your expertise in sensory and consumer science to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead research programs to drive business growth and innovation, utilizing recognized international standards and methodologies.
- Act as a senior technical advisor in Sensory and Consumer Science, collaborating with R&D and Marketing teams to drive business success.
- Collaborate with Consumer Marketing Insights to ensure alignment and integration of learning plans.
- Continuously develop and refine tools and techniques of Sensory and Consumer Science to drive business growth and innovation.
- Analyze and interpret results, communicating effectively to stakeholders and partners.
- Provide consumer-driven insights and understanding/models at category level, driving business growth and innovation.
- Develop and implement programs to drive a consumer-led innovation process, leveraging expertise in Sensory and Consumer Science.
- Strong knowledge in Sensory and Consumer Science methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative tools and techniques.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership, with a track record of motivating teams and individuals.
- Highly developed analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with statistical competence.
- Proven experience in verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to plan and implement programs that contribute to business growth.
- Strong ability to interpret and translate insights into a technical product/brand development path.
- Multi-discipline/multi-function team working skills and experience, with the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the food FMCG and/or research industry, with a focus on sweet and savory snacks.
- Experience in Design Thinking techniques, with a focus on driving business growth and innovation.
- Proficiency in sensory and statistical software, such as RedJade, xlstat, or Compusense.
