Position: Lead Technical Coordinator

Location: North West London

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Benefits (Car Allowance - Bonus - Healthcare - Pension - Life Insurance - Travel Expenses)

We are collaborating with a prominent Tier 1 Developer seeking a Lead Technical Coordinator to oversee a significant regeneration project divided into multiple phases. This role will involve providing technical support to the team on-site, contributing to the successful execution of a large-scale development in North West London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Technical Manager in delivering technical and design documentation necessary for land evaluations and planning submissions.
  • Coordinate with external consultants to produce technical details and drawings essential for the successful delivery of residential projects, from planning through to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with Building Control approvals and manage all imposed conditions.
  • Facilitate the clearance of planning conditions through the development and management of applications.
  • Prepare and coordinate working drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Develop legal transfer plans and secure Land Registry approval.
  • Manage and coordinate comprehensive technical release packages for tendering purposes.
  • Prepare complete production and sales release packages at the commencement of developments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of information in accordance with agreed schedules and project timelines.
  • Support the implementation of departmental objectives and procedures.
  • Assist the development engineer in procuring service information, quotes, civil engineering details, and substructure specifications.
  • Provide accurate technical information and support to all internal departments, including Commercial, Production, and Sales, aligning with company objectives.
  • Review and verify all technical details and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate the development of Health & Safety information and its delivery by external consultants.
  • Evaluate changes in regulatory standards and product information to ensure effective and cost-efficient delivery of residential projects.
  • Participate in all necessary external and internal meetings, including regular development progress discussions.

Required Competencies

  • HND/HNC in Building Studies/Construction or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in IT, with experience in AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of house building and Building Regulations.
  • Understanding of Planning Legislation.
  • Familiarity with Construction Design & Management Regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and work management abilities.
  • Effective time management skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Adept at resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
