About the Role

We are seeking experienced Personal Injury Solicitors and Fee Earners to join our team at Gabbott Recruitment Online Limited. As a leading commercial, professional, and technical agency, we provide permanent and short-term contract placements to a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage your own case load with valid file handling experience and litigation expertise.
  • Liaise with referrers and manage their expectations in respect of quality and service.
  • Take initial instructions from clients and assess funding requirements.
  • Investigate limitation, liability, causation, and assess quantum.
  • Advise clients and take initial instructions from them.
  • Liaise with insurers and negotiate settlements.
  • Draft court documents where appropriate and evidence gathering and negotiation work.
  • Court proceedings and compliance with pre-issue and pre-action protocols.
  • Advocacy as and when required and liaison with Counsel/instructions to Counsel.
  • Provide assistance to team members and comply with office procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid file handling experience and litigation expertise.
  • Ability to vet claims at initial stages and assess funding requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
