Personal Injury EL PL Solicitor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury EL PL Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for managing your own case load, handling files, and conducting litigation work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage your own case load with valid file handling experience and litigation experience.
  • Liaise with referrers and manage their expectations in respect of quality and service.
  • Take initial instructions from clients and assess funding requirements.
  • Investigate limitation, liability, causation, and assess quantum.
  • Advise clients and take initial instructions from them.
  • Liaise with insurers and conduct litigation work subject to experience and expertise.
  • Draft court documents where appropriate and gather evidence.
  • Negotiate settlements and provide assistance to team members.
  • Comply with office procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Valid file handling experience and litigation experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
