Electrical Director

About the Role
Hays Careers is seeking an experienced Electrical Director to join our client's team in Belfast. As a key member of the multidisciplinary building services engineering practice, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use, and industrial projects across the UK and EU.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present fee bids for new projects, showcasing your expertise and commercial acumen.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, and outsourced delivery teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Lead the electrical discipline on projects, taking ownership of project deliverables and driving outstanding commercial and sustainability outcomes.
- Manage the day-to-day workload of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Prepare technical calculations, reports, designs, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical project management, with a strong track record of delivering high-value projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers and technicians.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to prepare and present fee bids and negotiate contracts.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
