Electrical Director

About the Role
Hays Careers is seeking an experienced Electrical Director to join our client's team in Belfast. As a key member of the engineering practice, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use, and industrial projects across the UK and EU.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present fee bids for new projects, showcasing your expertise and commercial acumen.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, and outsourced delivery teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Lead the electrical discipline on projects, taking ownership of project deliverables and driving outstanding commercial and sustainability outcomes.
- Manage the day-to-day workload of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Prepare technical calculations, reports, designs, drawings, and specifications, demonstrating your technical expertise and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in preparing and presenting fee bids.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
