Job Overview

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Physical Health Psychology Service in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality psychological care and support.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with physical health problems, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for healthcare professionals and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist with a postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology. You should have a strong understanding of psychological theories and models, as well as experience in working with patients with physical health problems. A post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice is desirable.
