Role Objective
Your main goal will be to enhance the operational efficiency and profitability of the organization by ensuring timely production of goods according to engineering specifications, while adhering to ISO9001:2015 quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Programming and Setting
- Develop programs using CAD CAM software for 5 Axis CNC Machines, ensuring components meet required specifications.
Supervision
- Oversee and guide CNC Operators, monitoring their daily performance.

Main Duties
  • Utilize CAD CAM (SolidCAM) for programming tasks.
  • Program HAAS 5 Axis machines effectively.
  • Manage daily production operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
  • Produce components efficiently, achieving first-time quality.
  • Identify and suggest improvements in manufacturing processes for enhanced efficiency and quality.
  • Support and develop CNC Operators.
  • Continuously improve tooling, work holding, and planning within the machine shop.
  • Oversee stock control and material procurement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on production planning to meet assembly requirements.
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately.
  • Perform data entry using Sage 200 system.
General Duties
  • Maintain a record of overtime hours for monthly submission.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with logistics, including delivering and collecting parts as needed.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
  • Provide coverage for colleagues during absences.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by senior management.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.

  • Proficient in CAD CAM, preferably SolidCAM, though other experiences will be considered.
  • Extensive experience with 5 Axis machining.
  • Ability to quote machining times and component costs.
  • Experience working with various materials, including Aluminium, Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel.
  • Familiarity with cavity and custom form tools.
