At Northwestern Community Services Board, we are seeking a dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our team. As a Family Support Specialist, you will provide emotional support, share knowledge, and connect families with resources, opportunities, and other communities of support with other families who share the same experiences.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide emotional support to family members of children with complex emotional or behavioral health needs
* Share knowledge and connect families with resources, opportunities, and other communities of support
* Facilitate connections in the community and with other families

**Requirements:**

* A combination of training and experience indicating ability to effectively perform essential job functions
* Must possess a valid Driver's License, good driving record, and the ability to provide own transportation

**Work Environment:**

* May be exposed to allergenic environments from client's homes, including extreme heat, humidity, dust, smoke, pet contamination, cleaning supplies, etc.
* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
