Role Summary
An esteemed and forward-thinking organization is in search of a diligent, organized, and proactive Finance Coordinator to join their central operations. In this position, you will oversee the financial transactions and contribute significantly to the month-end closing activities, with potential for career advancement. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will collaborate closely with various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Credit Control, ensuring timely communication and follow-ups with clients.
- Distribute weekly customer statements and remittance advice.
- Ensure comprehensive reconciliation of all customer accounts.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process purchase invoices related to inventory, shipping, and duties, ensuring precision in landed costs.
- Handle purchase invoices for operational expenses and capital expenditures, ensuring accuracy in classifications.
- Manage personal expense claims and corporate credit card transactions.
- Facilitate weekly payment processing.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies.
- Ensure all supplier accounts are reconciled against their statements.
- Manage a shared inbox, addressing inquiries from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support enhancements in financial processes and internal controls.
Candidate Profile
- Strong academic background.
- Self-motivated and proactive individual.

- Ability to identify and rectify discrepancies independently.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging with suppliers and customers.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft NAV, is a plus.
