Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Buyers Assistant to join our dynamic On-line Buying team. As a key member of our Trading team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward by sourcing and purchasing products that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Trading team to identify and source new products that meet our customers' needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and products in the home improvement and electrical sectors
- Collaborate with our Buying team to develop and implement buying strategies that drive sales and revenue growth
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the home improvement and electrical sectors, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and products
