Job Summary:

The role is to assist the Fleet, Waste & Infrastructure team in providing a high-quality service by supervising the inspection, servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of a fleet of vehicles. This includes ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the team to achieve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the inspection and servicing of vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy and meet regulatory standards.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles, using technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet, Waste & Infrastructure team to achieve operational efficiency and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in LGV maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of vehicle inspection and servicing procedures.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults in vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
