PL SQL Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced PL SQL Developer to join our client's fast-growing company.

This role involves working within a team of 10 people, developing and maintaining core PL SQL based code for Electricity Market Settlement Systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality PL SQL code for Electricity Market Settlement Systems
  • Designing and developing the Advanced Data Service (ADS) data collection system as part of the wider Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) system development
  • Providing data analysis and technical support involving the Oracle backend for Operations data collection activities
  • Writing clear documentation to accompany developments, including specifications, technical manuals, and user manuals
  • Participating in regular training and learning activities to maintain and develop skills and knowledge

Requirements include:

  • Strong experience applying design principles, best practices, and schema design to database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server
  • Supportive and helpful team player with a flexible and positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing, to a range of audiences

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Oracle Standard or Enterprise and a strong background in database systems development.
