About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at Mercury Hampton Ltd. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities within the hydraulics market, developing relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support the sales process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively seek out and develop new sales opportunities within assigned territories, leveraging industry knowledge and market trends to drive growth.
  2. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase hydraulic tool capabilities, highlighting the benefits and value proposition to clients.
  3. Provide technical advice and guidance to clients on product selection, application, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering and product management, to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments, staying ahead of the curve to drive sales and revenue growth.
  6. Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, consistently delivering results and meeting client expectations.
  7. Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Extensive experience in the Hydraulics market, with a deep understanding of hydraulic tools, systems, and applications.
  4. Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic tools, systems, and applications, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to clients.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  8. Willingness to travel within assigned territories (up to 50%), with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
