We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our paediatric audiology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children with hearing impairments, including behavioural hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and rehabilitation.
Main Responsibilities- Lead clinical assessments and hearing aid fittings for children of all ages, including those with complex needs.
- Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans to improve hearing outcomes for children.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality clinical services.
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents to ensure children's hearing aid systems are used to achieve the best outcomes.
- Participate in clinical research and service development projects to improve paediatric audiology services.
- Substantial experience in clinical audiology, with a focus on paediatric audiology.
- Knowledge of current approaches to hearing aid selection in children.
- Understanding of clinical research and dissemination of findings through articles, publications, and presentations.
- BSc in Audiology or equivalent.
