**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a commercial bank in Canary Wharf, London. As an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the building's systems.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance tasks, including lighting, emergency lighting, and power distribution.
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance tasks, including air conditioning, chillers, and water treatment.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on building services equipment, including pumps, motors, and BMS systems.
  • Identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • Ensure all H&S issues are reported and escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • Report service-affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
  • Escort specialist subcontractors.

**Working Hours:

The successful candidate will work a continental shift pattern, with 4 nights on and 4 nights off, followed by 3 days off, and then 3 nights on and 6 nights off, followed by 4 days off.

**Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified, with City & Guilds Level 3 and 17th or 18th Edition certification.
  • Proven track record in building maintenance work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Knowledge of UPS, generators, power distribution, HVAC, and HV/LV systems.
  • Good leadership and management skills.
