Key Responsibilities:
As a social work team manager in Devon, you will cultivate a high-performance, collaborative environment by empowering your team to continuously enhance their competencies to achieve optimal results for our children, young people, and their families. Through reflective supervision sessions with your team, you will advocate for their personal and professional development. Additionally, you will oversee all matters concerning our children and young people, ensuring that quality standards are upheld while promoting restorative practices.
Expected presence in Devon for staff:
5 days a week during your duty week 3 days a week during your non-duty weekAbout You:
You will have a deep commitment to relationship-based social work and take pride in your profession. You will be capable of reflecting and innovating on how to assist your social work teams in building impactful relationships with the children and families of Devon.
Qualifications:
You must be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England, and possess significant experience in managing teams that work with children and families in social work. A criminal background check via the Disclosure and Barring Service is also required.
