We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team at Allstaff Recruitment. Our client, a top 40 accountancy practice in the UK, is looking for a qualified HR Manager with a background in professional services to provide support across their four sites.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior HR Manager
- Directly manage a small HR and Talent team, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of HR functions.
- Work closely with the HR Director and act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Advise team members on employee relations issues, performance management, absence management, employment law, and other HR-related matters.
- Facilitate the appropriate management of employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete HR reporting, including SSR and establish HR KPIs, to provide valuable insights and inform business decisions.
- Manage the annual salary benchmarking processes, ensuring fairness and equity in compensation practices.
- Resolve employee relation issues and manage complex cases, including disputes, disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and other sensitive matters.
Requirements for a Successful Senior HR Manager
- CIPD Level 7 qualified with several years of HR Management experience at a senior level, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Background in managing HR operations in a medium-sized business, with a proven track record of success.
- Proven employee relations experience, including managing and resolving complex cases, with a strong understanding of employment law and best practices.
