About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team at QED Legal in Southport. As a key member of our Residential Conveyancing department, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of residential property transactions, including leasehold and freehold sales and purchases, shared ownership, new builds, and Help to Buy schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including leasehold and freehold sales and purchases, shared ownership, new builds, and Help to Buy schemes.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Prepare and review contracts, deeds, and other legal documents related to residential property transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction progression.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in residential property law and conveyancing procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in residential conveyancing, including handling leasehold and freehold transactions, sales and purchases, shared ownership, new builds, and Help to Buy schemes.
  • Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
