About the Role

As a key member of our team at Serco Group, you will play a vital role in providing safe and secure court transportation and custody services for adults, children, and young people. Your primary responsibility will be to transport and escort individuals safely and securely to courts, ensuring their physical and mental well-being is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Search property and people to ensure a high regard is paid to emotional and physical well-being
  • Manage and control all situations to prevent escape, self-harm, harm to others, and damage to property
  • Ensure food and drink are available throughout the day
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for the day
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a current driver's license, B/B1 License, and be reasonably fit. You must also have good written and verbal communication skills to manage and control all situations.

Our Assessment Process

We use a competency-based virtual interview, short role-play, and written exercise to assess candidates. All roles are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and all offers of employment are subject to Ministry of Justice Enhanced Level 2 checks with Enhanced DBS (Adult & Child Barring) and satisfactory employment references.
