Secure Custody Officer Role

At Serco, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Custody Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Prisoner Escort Custody Services (PECS), you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of adults, children, and young people to courts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport and escort individuals to courts while prioritizing their physical and mental well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high level of care and support to those in our custody.
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for each day's activities.
  • Ensure the emotional and physical well-being of young people in our care, recognizing and managing any anxieties that may arise.
