Saw Machinist

We are seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our client's manufacturing team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a saw machine effectively and efficiently, working from technical drawings, and maintaining a safe and organized workshop environment.

• Operate a saw machine to cut and shape metal materials
• Work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate cuts and fabrications
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
• Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment as needed
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance

• Previous experience operating a saw machine in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Practical knowledge of materials and their properties
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Physical fitness to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials
• Machine maintenance experience and knowledge of safety protocols
