About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our client's Workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the saw effectively and efficiently to meet production demands.
  • Work from technical drawings to produce high-quality metal components.
  • Minimize waste and optimize material usage.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment.
  • Maintain and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience operating a saw in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • A practical approach with a strong understanding of materials and their properties.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Physical fitness to perform the demands of the role.
  • Maintenance experience and a willingness to learn.
