About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our client's Workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the saw effectively and efficiently to meet production demands.
- Work from technical drawings to produce high-quality metal components.
- Minimize waste and optimize material usage.
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment.
- Maintain and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Previous experience operating a saw in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- A practical approach with a strong understanding of materials and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physical fitness to perform the demands of the role.
- Maintenance experience and a willingness to learn.
