Role Overview
- The initial phase of the role will focus on project management, as you will be tasked with reviewing current supplier relationships and conducting a thorough vetting process.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and onboarding new vendors.
- Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for suppliers and overseeing their compliance.
- Collaborating with various departments within the organization, including utilities and legal teams.
- Participating in industry conferences and seminars to gather insights on potential suppliers.
- Formulating and executing procurement strategies that align with the business objectives.
- Implementing procurement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assessing supply requirements and leading the tendering process.
- Accountable for comprehensive reporting on procurement activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, ideally within the real estate or facilities management sectors.
- Proficiency in sourcing both hard and soft services.
- Experience in crafting service specifications.
- Possession of a procurement-related qualification is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach.
