Position Overview
Are you a dedicated, empathetic, and committed individual who prioritizes the patient experience in healthcare? If so, we invite you to consider this opportunity. In addition to the aforementioned qualities, candidates should possess a GCSE in English and Mathematics or an equivalent Level 2 qualification in numeracy and literacy. An NVQ Level 2 in Care is preferred. While prior experience as a Radiology Department Assistant or in a Health Care Support Worker role is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.
Key Responsibilities
Imaging Services Support Specialists assist Radiographers, Sonographers, and Radiologists in delivering essential care to patients within a dynamic Imaging Department operating seven days a week. They contribute to creating an efficient and compassionate environment. It is crucial for them to have opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge to uphold the highest standards of patient care. Successful candidates will need to exhibit compassion, dedication, bravery, and strong communication and organizational abilities. A solid understanding of IT is also necessary. Please be prepared to present your formal qualifications and identification during the interview process.
