About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is a leading food redistribution charity, dedicated to reducing food waste and supporting vulnerable Londoners.
Our Mission
We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants, and farms, and deliver it free of charge to charities, schools, food banks, and other organizations serving people in need.
Purpose of the Job
As a Community Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our mission by developing a network of charities, community groups, and stakeholders involved in supporting vulnerable Londoners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of a network of charities and community groups to accept and distribute food through our depot operations, Green Scheme, and Felix Connect.
- Assist in the set-up, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of school holiday programs that provide meal equivalents to families across London.
- Help drive the evolution of our school holiday provision and deploy as part of our business-as-usual delivery.
- Support the smooth flow of food and non-food items, ensuring recipients comply with relevant legislation and guidance.
- Monitor and evaluate our growth against strategic objectives through robust data collection and CRM system updates.
